So I have never really read the Song Of Solomon... or Song of Songs...whichever version you may call it. I guess I always figured it was for married people and since I'm not married it didn't strike me as something I needed to look at right now. But during my devotions last week, God kinda nudged me to give it a looksie. And I did and I got a further nudge to study it. So I read some of it and really liked the love story but I didn't really understand what I was supposed to be getting from it. So I went in search of a good study guide to the Song of Solomon book. I found an awesome free online study here: http://www.songofsolomondevotional.com/preview.php Something I learned already is that the reason it's call the "Song of songs" is because it's the most important "song" in the whole Bible. So apparently it's important! I'm really excited about getting into this study and man it's a doozy! I can't wait to get into this study... this book is So romantic! ALSO! On my women's retreat this weekend, the speaker Robin George who preaches every year told us about E-Sword.net which is a free Bible software program. I went and checked it out ( http://www.e-sword.net ). It's... AMAZING. There is translations and commentaries and stuff you can add on ... they even have a tutorial.. thank goodness because I think it would take me forever to get through all the features on my own! It even has a little calendar in it to remind you of prayer requests. It's awesome awesome awesome. Song Of Solomon 1:2 - Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth
