So of course yesterday was Easter. Went to church, hung out at Pastor's for dinner and promptly fell asleep until 1am. Ever notice you are more tired when you get extra sleep? I think I'm gonna save up and get one of those Tempurpedic jobbies. Anyone have one of those? How are they? Are they worth the $1000? So in church Pastor preached on Easter (which yesterday was a good day to do it) But what I have been chewing on the last day or so... What is it going to be like to live in Heaven? I mean we all know that at the end of your life, based on your decision here you go to heaven or hell... We kinda just push that to the back of our mind and keep living down here. Someone once illustrated that life can be measure on a yardstick. Life here on earth is the first millimeter (itty bitty) and eternity (heaven and hell) are like the rest of the stick but the yard stick just goes on and on forever. Wow. How do you wrap your mind around THAT? Never rushing anywhere because time goes on forever. Getting to see all the faithful from throughout History! What is President Lincoln like? What about King David? I always liked Daniel. I'd love to hear the story of the lions den! Hanging out with Moses, talking how freaky it is to walk down the middle of an ocean. And then of course having Jesus be like RIGHT HERE. I mean on a daily bases I get to have His love and His acceptance and it is AMAZING. But wow, to be with Him face to face - it's unbelievable. Getting to get my praise on with the angels and all the people I have lost down here. I sometimes joke that I hope my mansion isn't on the same block as the Apostle Paul. Because I am sure my house will be loud and goofy and heseems so serious and stoic in the Bible. But who knows, maybe he and I will get along. I mean - it's heaven after all! It's going to be beyond anything I can think of. It's like the best day of your life, they day you wish could last forever...actually lasting FOREVER. Phew. God, you're awesome.
