What a day this has been!
As I signed in to work this morning my Mom was on AIM to let me know that my brother Don had had a heart attack. Praise God he's alive and they were able to break up the stuff causing the 100% blockage of his main artery. Mom says if they would have taken 20 more minutes, we would have lost him.
But God has a bigger plan for my beloved brother. I'm so grateful to God for his faithfulness.
My nephew went to his grandmother's house to find her dead of an apparent suicide. He's only 18 and he hasn't had it easy.
There is other stuff but God is SO much bigger than all of it. I'm not going to worry or be sad, it accomplished nothing.
I had to laugh today, thinking this afternoon is going to be so great because all the badness went down this morning.
The Lord promises to take me from victory to victory. And I know when a day like this happens, when everything gets all icky that it's an attack from the enemy just trying to knock me off the path that God has set for me.
Newsflash devil: your're not worth it and your won't succeed. you're a liar.
Tonight I am going to hang out with friends and have revelry! I will watch movies and talk and laugh until my sides hurt. It's gonna be fabulous!
A DOG. You are one of the best friends that someone could ever ask for. A very loyal, compassionate person who is always there for close friends and family members who are in a tough time. You are someone who can be counted on time and time again and never let small grudges get in the way of a good friendship. But unfortunately, you are very dependant, and every now and then someone will take advantage of your loyalty, and it is most often not until you end up hurt that you realised your foolishness.
