So I went to this conference the other day. It was a big fire theme. "Firestorm." It was a wonderful time in the presence of God. The worship was anointed, the teaching was great. There was a man named Gregorian from Bulgaria who ministers to the gypsies over in various European countries. He is a goofy, silly guy, just up to his eyeballs in the joy of the Lord. The next night Nolan Clark preached. This service began at 7:30pm and I think I left around 11:15pm or so. While I was very very tired and had an hour drive home, it was so worth it t hear of how God is represented throughout the Bible in fire! The biggest thing that hit me was how Nolan talked about how when you read the Word, one day you will come across a verse, a phrase that will just strike lightning into your soul. It is within this Word that you will find your vision. It'll be a confirmation of the path God had already been speaking to you. And if you have an experience like that, you are neevr the same. It's amazing to me that no matter how many times you read His Word, that it continues to breathe life, to mold, to shape and to change. I want that kind of awestiking moment with God. I crave His presence and His love. I have been in services where His presence was strong enough to put chills down my spine and goosebumps on my arms. I long to have a life changing perception shattering experience with God. Not something orchestrated or put on. But an audience with the One True God. I almost tremble to say that, knowing God gives us the desire of our hearts. But I want to be so thoroughly changed by God that people will know I have been with the Father. I want to see visions of His glory and angels singing His praise. I don't want to be a passive Christian effected by every little gust of earthly wind. I want to fly on the wings of His Spirit. O Lord take me and change me.
